Snow Anderson
Being human is hard. It always has been. But now, with technology hijacking our
attention, rewiring our brains, and pushing us to move at unnatural speeds, it is perhaps
more challenging than ever. How do we remain sane amid the insanity?
For me, the antidote every single day, is to find inner peace amid the chaos. If I have
inner peace, I can deal with anything life brings my way. The way I achieve inner
peace is to apply skills I’ve learned and practiced over several decades using the
principles of practical spirituality.
My journey to reclaim inner peace began more than thirty years ago. My mother died
unexpectedly, leaving me consumed with guilt and grief. At the same time, my marriage
was blown apart by, what now I can only call madness, (though infidelity would also
work). Having walked away from a successful career in television news, I was living in
the high desert country of Northern New Mexico, isolated, deeply depressed and lost. I
found myself at a crossroads: suicide or therapy?
I chose therapy.
It healed my broken heart and fed my soul, so much so that I went on to earn a degree
in Applied Psychology and practice as a registered mental health counselor in Santa Fe,
New Mexico. Eventually, I moved back to Chicago to work in my first profession,
journalism, but I never stopped working on myself.
I am an ordained minister, with a journalism degree from Northwestern University and a
master’s degree in applied psychology from the University of Santa Monica. I am a
writer, counselor, mother and, most happily, a grandmother.
I feel called, once again, to offer spiritual counseling because I believe the world
desperately needs it now.
I know I do and I’m here to help you on your own path too.
What Clients Are Saying
“Working with Snow was nothing short of transformational. I came to her feeling lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected from myself. Her calm presence and intuitive guidance helped me unpack years of emotional weight I didn’t even realize I was carrying. Through our sessions, I learned how to truly listen to my inner voice and find peace in the middle of chaos. I’m not just coping anymore—I’m growing, healing, and finally feeling like myself again.”
“Snow has a rare gift. She held space for me in a way I’ve never experienced—gently, without judgment, and always with deep compassion. I was struggling with grief and spiritual confusion, and her guidance helped me rediscover my sense of purpose. Every session felt like a layer of healing. I now have tools that keep me grounded and connected, even during difficult times. I can honestly say I feel more whole because of our work together.”
